The Wizard & The Witch Olive Wood Sculpture

The Wizard and The Witch olive wood sculpture was hand carved  in Tuscany.

Carefully carved by hand in one of the hardest woods to carve The Wizard & The Witch is a delicate and elegant sculpture. In each small detail one can feel the intimacy of the artist with the wood. The Wizard gentle features are combined with a serenity and wisdom which this artist masterfully expresses. On the otherside of the sculpture a woman entwines herself in the wood, playing a muse to the wizard. 

A thin brass wire weaves itself through the sculpture, suspending a small piece of wood  above.

Masterfully carved by Reinel in Tuscany Italy. In each of Reinel's carvings is a sense of the artist, of his gentleness and his deep appreciation for the human soul.
