Sea of Plastic Abstract Painting

The Sea of Plastic Abstract Painting is a mixed media work using acrylic and resin on canvas. It is Carmine's interpretation of what is happening in our seas and oceans today. As a lover of nature he contemplates the impact our waste is having on our environment.

Carmine di Pietro is an accomplished Italian painter. He has had shows throughout Italy and also in New York, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and Barcelona. His works are a representation dense with technicality and manic gestures with which he encrypts the reality that envelops, contains, and entangles him. They are representations of  a restless spirit that uses the abstract to express the tangibility of the  issues that attack him in his being a man, father, son, husband, worker, voter, citizen.
