The Fontani family has been making knives for over 200 years in the Tuscan town of Scarperia. Making knives is in their blood and bones. They have perfected their knives for fit, quality and beauty. Each knife is crafted in their workshop, inside of an Italian castello (castle) where they work in leather aprons, surrounded by the history of their ancestors. Buying a Fontani knife is buying an Italian tradition, Italian culture, history and Italian craftsmenship which is famous worldwide for its excellence.
