Mushroomed Hackberry Wood Vase

The Mushroomed Hackberry Wood Vase was turned from the main bifurcation of the tree. The natural black speckling and unique patterns were created by the presence of a mushroom on the tree. 

The Hackberry Wood Vase has a consistent thickness all the way around. Leonardo turned the wood while fresh and then allowed it to dry. It is an absolute stunning one-of-a-kind piece which can never be replicated due to the presence of the mushroom on the tree.
